hi there!

welcome to my website! right now, this is where i post my ramblings, which are almost invariably concerned with various dissatisfactions in my life (though i am trying to branch out into cultural criticism and analysis.) i'm not a coder, so if the page looks wildly different in between visits, just know that it's because i'm trying to make it as cool and accessible as possible! i archive the site every time i edit, so if you're ever feeling nostalgic, feel free to use the wayback machine to look at earlier iterations.

i've always been very passionate about writing, but i found over the years that as soon as an academic semester ended, i would lose any and all desire to write anything beyond a sappy acoustic song or a whiny journal entry. this blog is my attempt to create a space for me to engage with language in a more fulfilling way, and to share my work with anyone who wants to read it.
